Loudoun Golf & Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Purcellville, Virginia.
Loudoun golf course opened in 1927. This is a demanding course with generous tree-lined fairways and small fast greens. Numerous sand bunkersprotect the greens and water hazards come into play on nine holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,583 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,473 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 552 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 147 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 15, a 425 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest at Loudoun golf course is hole is # 5, the 147 yard par-3.

Since I have been playing there for 42 years, I would recommend this course to any old golfer because you do not have to be long off the tee. It is a shot makers course. Beautiful old oak trees well over 100 years old throughout the course. Original nine holes built in 1927. It is private but have your pro call our pro and will probably get you on the course. Well conditioned, especially the greens. A very short course. Some poorly designed holes on the back 9 detract from the course.
